Freeland started 7th in our heat race with only 4 to qualify of the 24 starting spots for the A-main.

Mark got the 7A into fourth spot but the number 5 car of Glenndon Forsythe wanted that spot too, so the 7A and 5 car went at it right to the last lap. Freeland got it and put our car in the show. That was COOL to watch!!!

The 24 Sprint cars were lined up for the A-main starting us in the 17th spot. It was a clean start, the track was wicked fast, Freeland got the 7A into 9th place at the half-way point in the race. A battle ensued with the 12 car of Blane Heimbach and the 7A for the rest of the race. That was wild!!

Blane got Mark on the last lap. Shit! Freeland and the 7A finished 8th place in a hard-fought race.

Anthony would like to thank driver Mark Freeland, and crew Mike Weber, Dan Weber, Brad Lesh, and Jack Freeland. Jack is Mark's Dad and we thank him for all of his help at the shop and as our team's pick-up and delivery guy during the week so we can go racing on the weekends. That's what I call a "Racer's Dad" - THANKS Jack!!

Anthony and the whole crew and half of the pits would like to thank Mike Lauretano, owner of Pizza Lauretano in Bethel, Connecticut, for the awesome meatballs and sausages. In addition, big thanks also to Dunville's Restaurant in Westport, Connecticut, for their outrageous seafood bisque!

Mark Freeland and the 7A ran into big trouble in our hot lap practice session. While going into turn 1, at full speed, the right rear axle snapped. At that point, Freeland went airborne, and left the track.

Mark is sore, but will be back in the 7A this Friday night at the Grove. Check the photo page.

Thanks to all of you who came by and called to see how Mark was doing!

The 7A started 9th in our heat race and finished 5th. That started us 13th in the A main...on the first lap the 7A was on the move...here we go...once again a crash right in front of our car! Mark (Freeland) had no where to go, contact was made, and our night was over. Mark was all right!

We did not start the C- Main, (that was our choice) so we put the 7A back into trailer and watched what turned out to be a demolition derby

We started 6th in our heat race and Freeland got the 7A up to the front in no time and shot into the lead and held on for the win.  We went on to place 10th in the A Main.

I want to thank driver Mark Freeland and the whole crew!

Mark Freeland in the #7A started 5th in the heat race and finished 2nd. In the A Main Feature Event, the #7A started in the 3rd spot. On the 8th lap, after catching up with the leader in the # 16 car of Cliff Brian, the crew had the 7A working well and on the move. When you’re operating that well you catch up to slower cars in no time and we did right in the middle of 3 of them crashing! Freeland had no where to go except over the front end of one of them which send the 7A straight up in the air like a space shuttle. When the car came back down on the track, Mark got the 7A turned sideways somehow to avoid hitting the wall head on. I still don’t know how he did that and was able to walk away from it. And that’s a good thing.

Once again, thanks to crew and Mark Freeland for having such a well prepared racecar. It was quite exciting watching Freeland drive that hard and that quick up to the front. Just too bad it didn’t work out. That’s racing!

Mark Freeland and the crew got the 7A off to a good start for the season opener.   Mark  won the qualifying heat race, and started 6th in the A-main, with a 24 sprint car line up on a well prepared, and fast Williams Grove track.  At mid-point, the #56 car of Nate Snyder came into the picture.  Freeland had driven the 7A into the 5th spot, but Snyder wanted to change that, and the battle ensued! For several laps, Freeland and Snyder went at it, wheel-to-wheel.  Going into turn one, Snyder took the high line and Freeland on the bottom.  Right in front of the #7A and the #56, two cars were getting together.  Lucky for us, we were low enough to avoid it, but not Snyder...He got caught up in it!  That sucked for Nate.  On the restart, Freeland drove the 7A into a solid fifth place finish.

I would like to thank driver Mark Freeland, crew chief Mike Weber and crew, Danny "the Digger" Weber, Brad Lesh, Derek Sheaffer and Doug Gross, for making the trip down from Connecticut with me, and giving us a hand.

At this time, we are planning to run a limited schedule this season and plan to be back at the Grove for the next show.  Come out and see us and BRING A SPONSOR, PLEASE!  It was really good to be back in PA Country.  Thank you everyone!
